Profile #1: Dead Formats

The arrival of a slightly thick brown envelope containing a CD and a press release is a regular occurrence at the Article office. So, opening the brown un-marked envelope from Paul Boardman was something of a surprise. One of the Sheffield based graphic designers current projects is entitled Dead Formats, posted to us was a set of floppy disks and concisely written meditation on what it means for a format to be dead, focusing on how our love of kitsch means they never really are. Email Paul to get your hands on a set. Supplies are limited. Or, you can wait for the follow up print project which is being made in collaboration with Dust Studios.
