Article is a magazine about culture. It has its roots in the north of England, the place where we live. It’s our starting point for exploring art, architecture, culture, design, music and town planning.

The outlook of our content is broad. Culture is not just about press releases, fashion and big name art shows. Culture is about the streets and buildings we pass through everyday, the consequences of the big decisions made by governments and planners, and the projects, exhibitions, blogs, writings and photos people make in response and reaction, or just simply in the these places. It is these responses and provocations that we set as our remit.
